Tom Felton Returns as Draco Malfoy in ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ on Broadway
Tom Felton, best known for his iconic role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, is officially reprising the character — this time on Broadway. The 37-year-old English actor will make his Broadway debut as Draco in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, beginning November 11, 2025, at the Lyric Theatre. His performance will run through March 22, 2026.
Felton expressed his excitement, calling the opportunity a “full-circle moment,” noting that he’ll be the same age as Draco in the timeline of the play, which takes place 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In Cursed Child, Draco’s son Scorpius becomes close friends with Harry Potter’s son, Albus, continuing the magical legacy at Hogwarts.
This marks the first time a cast member from the original Harry Potter films joins the stage production of Cursed Child, making it a historic moment for fans. Felton previously made his West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story and has recently starred in A Child of Science and films like They Will Kill You and Fackham Hall.
